Born on August 19, 1970, of Venezuelan and Italian nationality, Rafael Eduardo Cedeno-Camacho has become a renowned figure in insurance and finance. With a distinguished career of over 25 years, he has seamlessly married his technical prowess as a public accountant with keen business acumen to orchestrate an illustrious portfolio of successful ventures.

Education and Early Career

Rafael’s academic journey is a testament to his dedication to continuous learning and growth. He obtained his public accountant degree from Santa Maria University before expanding his knowledge base through a Global MBA from the University of Miami, a Marketing degree from the University of Berkeley, California, and two Executive Programs from Singularity University in Silicon Valley. Starting his professional career at KPMG, he quickly cultivated a diverse skill set to pave the way for his future accomplishments.

Ascension to Leadership

Today, Rafael Eduardo is the Chairman of the Board of One Alliance Insurance Group.

• One Alliance is a leading insurance conglomerate founded in 2013 in Puerto Rico. It specializes in health, property, and casualty coverage. 

Operations in the Dominican Republic and the US. Some of its leading companies are:

• One Alliance Insurance Company (“OAIC”), its Puerto Rican company with increasing market share and resilient growth with financial solid stability, acquired in 2019 by a group of investors led by Rafael Cedeño. Under the Group’s guidance, OAIC has achieved a 37.1% revenue CAGR from 2019-2023
• Singular Insurance Agency, an insurance agency authorized as general agent and authorized representative to sell property, casualty insurance.

Expansive operational footprint with global influence:

• One Alliance has successful operations in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the US, along with a global travel assistance operation,  Axeso Finance, a company offering innovative financing solutions to clients in Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, Redi Redi, a financial company that offers microcredits in the Dominican Republic, and an innovative insurance franchise model. 

Rafael Eduardo Cedeno-Camacho participates directly in all its operations, has a very active agenda, visits companies, and works hand in hand with its executives.

In 2013, he merged a group of distinguished investors and financial luminaries to create his first insurance company. This consortium, driven by the vision of Cedeño-Camacho, was the beginning of a new era of market dominance for the Group, strengthening over the years its presence in the Latin American insurance market and in the United States of North America, where The USA operation has nine states where they are licensed to underwrite:

Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Delaware, Georgia, Texas, New Jersey, North Carolina,

South Carolina and Florida.

He is a collector of vintage cars and an enthusiast of various sports (karate, golf, and the burgeoning game of paddle tennis), where he finds relaxation in the skills and concentration that these disciplines demand. His active participation in sports reflects his approach to business: competing fiercely, balanced with a deep-rooted enjoyment of the game.

First and foremost, as a humanist, Rafael Eduardo has consistently participated in philanthropic initiatives throughout his career. Over the last five years, he has regularly given to charity at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Key Biscayne.

Their companies also actively contribute to institutions such as the Pediatric Hospital Foundation, the CAP Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Ave María Children’s Home, the True Future Foundation, and the Gift of Life Foundation.
